一、learn 动词。意思是学习、学会、学到。侧重学习的成果。指通过学习和练习或从经验中去获得知识和技巧，多用于学习的初级阶段。若是向某人学习要用learn from。learn和study有时可以换用。例如：
He is learning how to drive. 他在学开车。
We must learn how to operate the machine. 我们必须学会开机器。
It was only last winter that I learned to skate.就是在去年冬天我学会了滑冰。
Chairman Mao asked us to learn from Comrade Lei Feng in 1963. 毛主席在一九六三年号召我们向雷锋同志学习。
二、study 动词。意思是学习、研究。侧重学习的过程。例如：
She studied chemistry for three years. 她学习了三年的化学。
Study hard and youll learn the language well.用功学习，你就会学好这门语言。
I will study the matter and give you my opinion.我要研究一下这事，然后再把我的建议给你。
